I am allergic to pollen and every summer I end up having horrible problems with my eyes.
They start itching and turning red but then I notice a yellow stringy mucus under my eyelids that I believe is causing the itching and discomfort. Once I remove it I feel asthma some relief and it slowly starts to feel better but.
Show more, i am allergic to pollen and every summer I end up having horrible problems with my eyes. Once I remove it I feel some relief and it slowly starts to feel better but then more comes back. Today I spent my day inside and things seemed fine but when I had to go out to the garage for vacuum probably about 5 minutes I started having problems.
I know that there is a lot of pollen floating around in our storage garage.
When I got inside my eyes were 100 red and swollen.
I looked at my eyes and saw a large sting of yellow mucus that went from the center of my eye down under my eyelid. There was also more in the upper eyelids. This is extremely painful to have to deal with and I have not found anything to get it under control.
Do you have any idea of what could be from going on with my eyes or any way to help relieve these symptoms?
Medications for Allergic Asthma. The same allergens that give some people sneezing fits and watery eyes can cause an asthma attack in others.
About 90 of kids with childhood asthma have allergies, compared with about 50 of adults with asthma.
